City of Grove City Night

Join us as we celebrate all things Grove City on Friday, September 16, 2022 at the home Grove City High School Football game vs. Marysville High School at Leasure Field (446 Hoover Rd., Grove City, OH 43123). Opening kickoff will take place at 7 p.m.

In appreciation of all the city does to support our schools and our students, all City of Grove City public employees will receive free entry to the Grove City High School versus Marysville High School football game upon display of a valid city identification card. In addition to free admission for City of Grove City public employees, the South-Western City School District (SWCSD) will present the City of Grove City with a commemorative plaque at the end of the first quarter in recognition of the city’s efforts in securing and donating approximately 20 acres of land for our newly built Beulah Park Middle School.

“From Mayor Stage and city council to the rest of the city’s administration, the district finds itself incredibly fortunate to be the beneficiaries of the parcels of land that eventually became the home of the new Beulah Park Middle School which opened this August,” said South-Western City School District superintendent Dr. Bill Wise. “The beauty of our school system - Ohio’s 6th largest - lies in its genetic make-up as it is formed from a number of vibrant communities.  The City of Grove City certainly represents an important backdrop for many of the students we educate and the community we serve.”

The SWCSD Board of Education extends its sincere gratitude to the City of Grove City for their steadfast commitment to supporting our students and hope you will join us on September 16 to commemorate this enduring partnership as we cheer the Greyhounds on to victory alongside our community.
