24-25 Transportation Opt In/Out


As the District continues summer transportation planning to maximize route efficiencies, we are in need of your help! Now through August 1 (5 p.m. deadline), the district is asking all families to complete our new PK-10th grade Transportation Opt-in/Opt-out Form.

By collaborating with families to collect more accurate counts of which students plan to use the bus during the 2024-2025 school year, we can create more precise seating charts, ensure accurate ridership counts (avoiding partially unfilled buses), and maximize routing efficiencies to reduce travel times across our fleet.


Your assistance in our summer planning is greatly appreciated and will help us improve our transportation services for all students! 


FAQ's

  • Who should complete this form?

    • All South-Western City School District Families should complete this form by August 1 to inform the district as to their intent to use (Opt-in) or not to use (Opt-Out) district transportation during the 2024-2025 school year. Please complete one form per student in grades PK-12. 

  • I do not know my child’s Student ID, where can I find that?

    • Student identification numbers can be found within the Infinite Campus Parent Portal (select your child’s picture and your student’s ID number will appear), embedded within your child’s student email address, and printed on student progress reports.
